I began in the mortgage industry as a mortgage loan processor in 1991 and became a Licensed Mortgage Broker in 1993. In 1998, I opened my own correspondent lending company. 11 years later, the mortgage lending business started going through massive changes. It was then that I decided that I needed to align my office and team with a solid and stable banking entity. I was introduced to the Cadence Lending Group, a division of Waterstone Mortgage Corp., through my relationship with MGIC in early 2009 and made the decision at that time to become part of Cadence. In 2010, Cadence took the Waterstone Mortgage name in entirety. Waterstone Mortgage is a wholly owned subsidiary of WaterStone Bank SSB, which means all its mortgage lending transactions are backed by the strength and stability of a bank with assets of close to $2 billion.

I have handled thousands of mortgage clients throughout the years. My knowledge of the underwriting guidelines and tenacity to find a way to make the deal work are what keeps my clients coming back and referring their family and friends to our office. In fact, one of my past employers even changed my middle name to Beth "There's a deal here somewhere" on my business card.  I believe every client needs and deserves a loan officer who will communicate with and educate them, coordinate with the Realtor and all other third parties as well as attend the closing to make sure there are no last minute questions!
